The Magic of Desecheo Island: A Diver's Paradise

Just 12 miles off the coast of Rincon lies Desecheo Island, a National Wildlife Refuge that boasts some of the absolute best diving in the Caribbean. Because the island itself is off-limits to visitors, the surrounding reefs have remained pristine and untouched.

What You Can Expect to See

The visibility here is legendary, often exceeding 100 feet. The reef systems, like the famous "Candyland", are explosive with color. Giant barrel sponges, vibrant sea fans, and healthy hard corals provide the backdrop for sea turtles, reef sharks, and massive schools of tropical fish.
